There are many facts regarding the use of alternative fuels (e.g.  the creation of ethanol from corn energy positive...). Unfortunately, there are also many issues that we face in creating and consuming alternative fuels such as can I modify my car to use ethanol under the tampering provisions of the US Clean Air Act.

This section of the site seeks to define and contextualize these "issues" to help in understanding the implications of alternative energy creation and use. The tone of these sections are focused on the US consumer.
